Engineer
Responsible for the design and development of mechanical
packaging for the RSVP Voice Mail System and several accessory
products as well as Receptor program rack mounted station
equipment. The development from concept to production involved
generating the master layout and detailed part drawings, inspecting
prototype parts, monitoring mechanical testing, and approving tooling
for plastic and metal parts. Additional tasks included: graphic design;
office space and furniture layout; maintenance of the model shop;
obtaining outside services for Industrial Design, camera work, and
artwork generation; on-site inspection of vendor capabilities; the set
up and monitoring of reliability tests; and fabrication of mechanical
prototypes.

Responsible for the mechanical design of the 1240 Logic Analyzer and
some of its accessories from the advanced product concept through
to production. Performed initial design and implementation of the
Liquid Crystal Color Shutter into the 1240 Logic Analyzer and
participated in early planning of future products.
